Richard Schechter
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Managing Principal
A third generation multi‐family and commercial property owner, manager and developer, Mr. Schechter’s family has been in the business since 1927. Mr. Schechter developed his first mixed‐use office and retail project in 1976 and his first mid‐rise apartment project in 1978. He has been involved in the supervision, acquisition, development or management of, and in some instances conversion to condominiums, of approximately $2 billion in multi‐family rental housing, including over 13,000 units in various Florida markets. He formerly was chief operating officer and supervised all aspects of acquisition, development and property management at R.M.S Partners, a developer and manager of office buildings and apartment rental communities in Florida and Washington D.C. He was also formerly President of Bainbridge Financial Corporation, an investment, asset and property management advisory group based in Washington D.C. and specializing in office, retail and multi‐family portfolios and REIT transactions. Mr. Schechter has been involved in the real estate industry throughout his career. He is also an attorney admitted to practice in Florida, Washington D.C., and New York and a licensed real estate broker in New York State. In additionto his hands‐on expertise in commercial and multi‐ family ownership, acquisition, management and development, Mr. Schechter has extensive experience in structuring large scale real estate financing, including REIT programs and other publicly funded vehicles. Mr. Schechter earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Clarkson University and his Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University College of Law. |

Thomas J. Keady
President, Bainbridge Development Company, LLC, Principal
Mr. Keady manages overall development operations for all new construction and renovation projects from land acquisition through entitlements, land development, design, permitting, construction and project delivery. He maintains licenses as a Certified General Contractor and Professional Civil Engineer. Mr. Keady has broad experience in development and construction operations including high-rise, mid-rise and garden multi-family condo and rental projects as well as commercial building, renovation, and tenant improvements.
Since joining Bainbridge in 1998, he has been responsible for completion of over 3,700 multifamily units in 12 communities and the redevelopment of over 10,000 multifamily units in 29 communities. He is currently responsible for ongoing development and construction of over 2,300 multi-family units and supporting amenities in various stages of development at Bainbridge, and the development of two commercial mixed-use projects. Prior to joining Bainbridge, Mr. Keady served as a Development Manager for affordable housing projects with Ocwen Financial Corporation on projects throughout the southeastern United States. He also worked as a Development Manager with the IDI Group Companies in metropolitan Washington D.C. on several high-rise condominium projects. Mr. Keady also has previous experience in large scale commercial general contracting as a Project Engineer for Gilbane Building Company, an ENR top 100 General Contractor. |

Richard P. Giles
Chief Operating Officer, Principal
Mr. Giles is responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, asset management and operations for the company. As President of Property Operations for five years, Mr. Giles was responsible for overall property performance, as well as market and feasibility analysis for all Bainbridge projects. With over 20 years of experience in the apartment industry, Mr. Giles has guided the operations of more than 25,000 apartments in over 80 communities, operating in Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. During his career, Mr. Giles has been responsible for fee managed, joint venture, REIT owned properties, and condominium conversion/associations. Prior to joining The Bainbridge Companies, he has held the position of Group Vice President with Archstone-Smith, where he was responsible for a portfolio of approximately 12,000 units. Prior to that, Mr. Giles served as Regional Manager with Trammell Crow/Gables Residential, where he was responsible for property operations throughout Florida. Mr. Giles is a Licensed Real Estate Broker, Community Association Manager, and has served on the board of directors of the Palm Beach, Broward and Dade Apartment Association. |

Robert W. Gaherty
President, Bainbridge Construction, LLC, Principal
Prior to joining Bainbridge, Mr. Gaherty was a Partner and President of Construction for Douglas Partners, LLC., a start-up organization with two former Trammell Crow Residential (TCR) partners. Previous to starting Douglas Partners, Mr. Gaherty was a Partner and President of Construction for TCR in the state of Florida. During his tenure with TCR, which spanned over 19 years, Mr. Gaherty’s range of responsibilities included construction estimating through construction and project management for over 10,600 multi-family units with a total construction value in excess of $484 million. Additionally, Mr. Gaherty has been responsible for the construction of 370,000 square feet of light commercial structures and 500+ extended-stay hotel rooms. Mr. Gaherty was a member of the Board of Directors which had operational responsibility for the overall TCR organization. During Mr. Gaherty’s tenure with Douglas Partners, his responsibilities included the management and supervision of all Douglas Partners construction entities and their related construction operations, which included the planning, development, and construction of over 600 multi-family units throughout Florida. Mr. Gaherty graduated with Honors from the University of Phoenix and received a degree in Business Administration. Mr. Gaherty has been a Certified General Contractor in the state of Florida since 1991 and is an active member in the International Building Code, Florida Building Code, National Fire Protection Agency, and the National Multi Housing Council. |

Paul DeCain
Chief Investment Officer, Principal
Mr. DeCain is responsible for transaction underwriting, capitalization and execution. Prior to joining The Bainbridge Companies, Mr. DeCain was a Managing Director for Eastdil Secured/Wells Fargo (and a predecessor firm, Wachovia Capital Markets) focused on real estate equity investment and advisory transactions. He was responsible for the execution of over $1 billion of commingled fund raises, over $1.25 billion of bridge equity investment transactions, and over $1 billion of joint ventures and recapitalizations. Prior to Eastdil Secured/Wells Fargo, Mr. DeCain was President of DeCain & Company, a boutique real estate investment banking firm, where he advised developers/operators on joint ventures, commingled fund raises, recapitalizations, financings and entity-level transactions. Mr. DeCain executed over $850 million of real estate private equity transactions at DeCain & Company. Before DeCain & Company, Mr. DeCain was a Senior Partner at Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance where he co-lead the firm's Real Estate Advisory business. At Arthur Andersen, Mr. DeCain advised on over $4.2 billion of real estate private equity transactions including joint ventures, entity-level transactions, commingled funds and recapitalizations. Mr. DeCain began his career with LaSalle Partners working as an analyst in the firm's Development Group. While at LaSalle, he worked on the re-development of Union Station in Washington DC and on the development of several large east coast office projects. Mr. DeCain received his MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and his BS from Lehigh University. Mr. DeCain passed the CPA at the outset of his career.
